Loughborough University London and RMIT partner to advance transnational research and postgraduate education

Loughborough University London and RMIT are partnering to boost transnational academic and research collaboration as well as explore new opportunities in postgraduate education.

The new agreement, which was recently signed at RMIT Europe in Barcelona, will see collaboration in design, innovation, sport and media and communications.

It will involve working on joint publications, developing research training programs and collaborating on major funding applications, including the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network.

The partnership will also foster innovation and knowledge exchange across innovation districts, including City North Melbourne, Barcelona’s innovation district 22@ and SHIFT, a vibrant innovation hub at the Olympic Park in London, where Loughborough University London is located.

In addition, the collaboration will strengthen research and education offerings of the two universities in Europe, especially in design, technology and enterprise.
